VCU Police seek suspect in phone robbery

On Aug. 18, VCU Police received a report of a larceny on the 900 block of West Franklin Street. At approximately 6:20 p.m. the victim was walking eastbound on the 900 block when an unknown male walked past her and snatched her cell phone out of her hand. The male was last seen fleeing the area westbound on Franklin Street and northbound on Harrison Street. Police were able to capture photos of the suspect; the male is described as 6’ tall and in his late teens.

This incident is classified as a grand larceny and the VCU Police Department is looking for leads on the suspect’s identity.
