Feature film PERMANENT is filming in the area today and tomorrow

Anybody seen Patricia Arquette or Rainn Wilson?

PERMANENT is a feature film starring Patricia Arquette and Rainn Wilson.

It’s 1982 in a small town where all the females with straight hair and bad swimsuits want to be Farrah Fawcett. 13 year old AURELIE, insecure with a hideous new perm, must navigate life at a new school in this coming-of-age comedy.

Film production has been taking place around the city and now it’s our turn. Today, Thursday August 11th they are filming at a location in the strip mall next to Stories Comics.

Tomorrow, Friday the 12th they’ll be filming over near the Pumphouse on Pumphouse Drive. Pumphouse Drive will not be closed.

I snapped a few pictures as they were setting up this morning, no stars though. Not the most exciting pictures so I guess we can cross paparazzi off my list of possible careers. Creepy guy walking around the neighborhood with camera is still wide open though.
