Music in the Park is tonight, don’t bring your booze or glass bottles

If these rules aren’t followed we could lose our free concerts and that would be giant ear bummer.

This message was posted in the Forest Hill Neighborhood Facebook and is a reminder that alcohol and glass are illegal in all Richmond Parks.

Important Notice To Music In The Park Friends & Neighbors

The City of Richmond, Parks and Recreation Department who allows us to have the Forest Hill – Music In The Park, has received several concerns & complaints about our event. These concerns have put us “on-notice” for the
NON-Compliance of the NO GLASS and NO DRINKING in the park rules. If they continue to notice alcohol containers and glass in the trash and or being consumed at the event, enforcement will happen and the permit for future concerts will not be available.

Again, we urge you to please be mindful of the City of Richmond Park rules of no alcohol and no glass containers of any kind in the park. We also need to make sure there is no parking in the Stone House far circle yellow curb area, so that any emergency vehicles are able to get around if needed fast.

We have 3 more great concerns to go and we hope to continue being a family friendly event for all. To continue, we need to make sure we follow the rules of the park. Please pass this information on to all concerned.

Thanks, Forest Hill, Westover Hills and Woodland Heights Neighborhood Associations!
