One of Short Pump’s longest running local restaurants has a new owner. Patina Restaurant & Bar on Lauderdale Drive in the Shops at Wellesley, owned by the Bernstein family for the past three years, was sold to first-time restaurant owner Joel Hagman.

The former owners were represented by Nathan Hughes of Sperity Real Estate Ventures in the sale.

Patina, in business since 1999, has had three owners in its 17 year history.

Chef Todd and the rest of the restaurant’s staff will remain on board, the former owners said in an email this week to patrons.

The restaurant is currently closed until next Tuesday, August 9th, when it will reopen to diners.
