John Waters to headline fundraiser for The Byrd Theatre

The live performance and midnight movie takes place Friday, October 16th at the historic Carytown theatre.

From The Byrd Theatre:

On Friday, October 16th at 9:30 PM, John Waters will perform This Filthy World, a one-man show concerning his origins in the trash genre and his successful career navigating Hollywood. This performance will last around 90 minutes and will be followed by book signing and a midnight screening of a Waters film (TBA). This event is a fundraiser for The Byrd Theatre and WRIR 97.3 FM, and all proceeds will go to these great non-profits.

Tickets are $30 through October 10th and $40 the week of the performance. Purchase of tickets is available at Chop Suey Books, Video Fan, and Bygones (CASH ONLY) and online at Eventbrite.
