Bryan Park Planting for The Big Bike Race™

Help shape up the park entrances.

If you’re not busy on Saturday August 15th from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM you can help the city get all gussied up for The Big Bike Race™ by volunteering.

More details including the ability to sign up at HandsOn Greater Richmond.

This is a partnership with Richmond Grows Gardens, a program of the city’s Green Richmond Initiative and the Enrichmond Foundation, who serves Richmond’s people, parks, and public spaces as an umbrella non-profit for over 100 “friends” groups that include civic associations, outdoor enthusiasts, and garden and history.

Volunteers will help beautify the entrance of the city parks along the UCI Bike Race route. Volunteers will be doing various garden activities like watering, planting, weeding, harvesting, and composting.
